Our SC location of Stone Interiors has been in operation since 2001, however our family's experience in the stone industry dates back to the 1970's. At that time, our founder, GK Naquin, was a partner in a New Orleans based company whose primary focus was the fabrication and installation of stone facades on high rise commercial buildings across the U.S. in 1997, his focus shifted to residential homeowners' desires for the beauty of natural stone in their home's design and construction, and the first Stone Interiors was founded in Loxley, AL. GK moved to Blowing Rock in 2018 and recognized the need for quality and timely installation of countertops and began servicing the Western North Carolina area.
