Our May speaker will be David Graham.  David is the Transportation Planner for the High Country Council of Governments Rural Planning Organization (RPO). 

The core duties of the High Country RPO include:

~Prioritization of transportation projects for funding consideration in the NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).

~Development of comprehensive transportation plans in partnership with NCDOT.

~Provide transportation related information to local governments and other interested parties.

~Provide a forum for public participation in the rural transportation planning process.
