Celebrate summer in the High Country at Symphony by the Lake, Blowing Rock’s premier outdoor music event. Set on the picturesque shores of Chetola Lake, this year’s theme, “Celtic Celebration,” features a captivating performance by the Symphony of the Mountains, preceded by the Jakeb Hardin Quartet at 5:30 PM. 

Bring a blanket or low chair, enjoy a picnic, and relax under the stars. The evening ends with a stunning fireworks display reflected over the water. Dining options and accommodations are available through Chetola Resort.

The event is held Rain or Shine. All Ticket Sales are Final - NO Refunds. 

Gates open at 5:00PM. No early set-up. Music begins: Opening performer - 5:30PM Featured performance - 7:30PM. 

General admission guests are welcome to bring: Low chairs and blankets, coolers, picnic meal, beer, wine, soft drinks / water ONLY 

Please do NOT bring: Items that would obstruct the view of others, umbrellas, tall chairs and tables, grills or open flames, no pets (certified Service Animals only), no hard liquor.
